Host is the platform that understands hospitality from the inside - because the best digital ordering and payment experience shouldn't feel digital at all. Built for New Zealand's hospitality industry, Host set out to become the premier platform for venues that care as much about the experience as the transaction.
The brief was to land somewhere between food app and tech company - approachable but polished, fun but credible. We built a clean, minimalist identity anchored by playful illustrations of food, drinks, waiters and the small rituals of a great hospitality experience. The kind of visual language that makes the people running the floor feel like the system is actually on their side.
From the website through to social and sales touchpoints, we built a flexible visual system that keeps Host feeling human at every interaction. The result is a hospitality brand with enough personality to stand out in a crowded tech category, without losing the polish needed to be taken seriously by the venues it serves.
