Matakana Essentials is a premium body and home care brand rooted in the native botanicals of New Zealand - ritual-led, research-backed and designed to live beautifully in the homes of those who use it.
The identity draws from traditional Māori design - a logo built in stacked form, totemic and grounded, holding the weight of the land it came from. Earthy, considered and unmistakably its own.
The art direction was designed to make you want to slow down. Moody, sensual, the kind of aesthetic that makes you reach for a bath and a candle before you've even read the label. Self care brands inspire more than just the product itself, it's a mood and an invitation for your own ritual.
